Japanese Canadians have a very unique history in Canada, and we feel that it is most important that it be preserved. To this end, the Kamloops Chapter of the NAJC has a History Preservation Room in the basement of our Cultural Centre where we have a collection of old papers, books, pictures, artifacts that have been donated by members.
We are in the process of accessioning these items so they can be used for research purposes. Donations are welcome. We are also collecting Oral Histories of our Seniors. Volunteers are needed.
